The inherence and gifting duty has changed – there will be two rates instead of the previous 18.

The good news is that in the future in case of residences the inheritance and gifting duty will be half of the amount in case of other properties. In case of inheriting and gifting a residence the amount of the duty is 9 %, while for other properties it’s 18 %.
